Go Green IT offers an IT equipment disposal service, where we aim to refurbish and reuse as many components as possible.
We can offer the following services:
Where equipment is not in a usable condition, as much of the material as possible will be recycled.
We will adhere to the WEEE T11 exemption for repairing and refurbishing items, and follow the “Best Available Treatment, Recovery and Recycling Techniques” (BATRRT) when treating the waste.
All items to be disposed of should be provided as an asset list, detailing make and model of equipment, serial number and company asset number. If this is not available, a Go Green IT consultant can compile the list for you.
After this list has been reviewed, we will create a quote for disposal.
Data breaches are rightly a concern for companies disposing of computer equipment, and we take this process very seriously:
Asset stickers or other labels identifying company origin will be removed unless otherwise requested.
Usable equipment will be offered to charities if appropriate. Other usable components will be refurbished and reused.
